Due to the expanded scope of work of the USAID Pension Reform Project and its transformation into the Labor Market Project, the hot line 0 900 32 111 also expanded its activities and already covers topics related to the rights and
privileges of:
unemployed;
socially disadvantaged;
people in retirement and pre-retirement age;
job-seekers and people who wish to apply for loans.
Since the beginning of 2003 the Center has been operating within the
Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. Our operators, who have been
specially trained by the Ministry’s experts, provide information with
respect to:
job opportunities under the MLSP employment
programs;
pension legislation;
social assistance;
benefits and privileges for people with disabilities;
micro-lending.
By calling 0 900 32 111 from any place in the country everybody will
get an answer to their question at the price of two local calls per
minute. Sofia citizens can also use an additional line - 987 16 22,
which is charged at the price of one local call.
The Social Information Center draws up regular reports on the received
calls, which are distributed among all of the Project’s counterparts.
